Regional Sales Manager
Bruce Beck is a long time Pacbrake veteran! He grew up in a two stroke diesel shop, before becoming a life member of the sales team here at Pacbrake. When asked what he has enjoyed over the years, it’s our customers' after the fact response, to express their excitement or appreciation for the various products we have recommended that make their towing and traveling more enjoyable.
He lives in the greater Vancouver area and outside of work he enjoys all things outdoors, in particular being somewhere on the water.
Inside Sales / Technical Supervisor
Jim has 28 yrs of Pacbrake experience working in aftermarket sales, offering dealer & customer support. He loves how Pacbrake is always improving and developing new products to an ever changing diesel aftermarket world. He is excited about the relationships he has made over the years with the dealers and customers and this keeps him going.
Jim's passions in life are his wife and 2 boys and he enjoys driving around with his family in his 1935 Ford. An avid NASCAR fan, Jim enjoys watching NASCAR races, as well as hockey games, in his free time.
Regional Sales Manager
Todd is one of the newest members to the Pacbrake team. With years of experience in sales and account management paired with his background on the tools in Oil and Gas he has been a valuable addition. Todd also has a University degree in Communications from SFU. What Inspires him the most about working in sales is the opportunity to build strong and lasting relationships with his customers and provide them with a service that always exceeds their expectations.
When asked what he loves most about Pacbrake, “It’s the people. Here at Pacbrake we are more than just colleagues, we are a family. This transcends into how we do business and how we treat our customers.“
Todd spends his free time enjoying the great outdoors, staying fit and spending time with his family.
Technical Support / Customer Service
Chris has been part of Pacbrake team since 2009. He came with 10 years experience working as a brake and suspension mechanic. During his time with Pacbrake he has worked in customer service, technical support, and also in the service shop. He enjoys working with customers to ensure their Pacbrake product is working to its full potential.
Away from work, Chris likes to relax & spend time with his wife & two children.
Inside Sales / Warranty Administrator
Doug Scott has been part of the Pacbrake team since 1998. After 3 years of being a machinist, he moved his way into the warranty department as a parts analyst. Today, he is proud a customer service representative and warranty administrator. To him the most rewarding part of his job is working with a great team of people.
When Doug isn’t at Pacbrake he can be found hunting, camping, or spending time with his family.
Gabi is a mechanical engineer by training with 24 years of automotive experience. Of these 24 years he spent 17 years with Pacbrake in various roles in engineering and management. He likes working with people as he believes that the best asset the company has are the people.
He enjoys sailing in his free time and dreams to be on the beach every chance he has.
Business Development Manager
Ryan has over 20 years with Pacbrake working through various departments and has helped create many business processes that define Pacbrake today. He is actively involved in company management and plays a large role in overseeing Pacbrake's global supply chain.
Ryan loves the outdoors and his hobbies, which include dirt biking and boating, are a driving force for his involvement in Pacbrake - truck towing solutions.
Peter is an MBA and Mechanical Engineering Graduate. He has spent 7 years here at Pacbrake as a Manager and Mechanical Designer. He is passionate about team building and problem solving, taking enjoyment in speculating on what new products to bring to market.
As a truck owner, Peter enjoys testing new product, as well as challenging his team to make the next great improvement.
An MBA graduate from SFU, Neha first started working at Pacbrake as a Business Development intern. Over the last year she has made a successful transition into her current role of a Marketing Manager. What she loves the most about her job is that she can use her technical knowledge and management skills to market the great products made by Pacbrake.
A dance lover at heart, Neha likes to read and hike in her spare time.
Manufacturing Engineering Technician
James has been with Pacbrake since 1996, starting on the machines manufacturing engine and exhaust brakes, he moved into the Quality Department as an inspector helping to set up and maintain our quality system. James has traveled to China to set up and maintain supply chain in his new role as Quality Manager. He has since moved into the Engineering team with his years of product specific knowledge.
He loves problem solving and coming up with solutions for production, and working with the great group of coworkers from manufacturing, quality, China team and engineering. You will find him out on his boat in the summer and outdoors whenever possible.
Kody is a mechanical engineer by education and has been with Pacbrake for 4 years. He works in the design department and is usually found running simulations at his desk or running the test engines in our dyno cell. He finds product design to be intriguing and challenging and loves the fast pace of development at Pacbrake. He works closely with the senior engineers and designers and likes to absorb the available knowledge that only experience can offer.
He lives close to work with his wife and child in their renovated heritage home, and enjoys cooking and riding his motorcycle.
Mechanical/Electrical Designer Firmware Developer
Daniel is a Mechanical/Electrical/Software Design Engineer and has been working with Pacbrake for over 17 years. It all began when Daniel was very young and he used to see his grandfather's business and began learning from him.
Daniel has been interested in engineering from a very young age, whether building robots, structures, CNC machines or repairing pretty much anything from mechanical to electrical; it has always been part of his life. He always has been eager to know how things work and what the principles that lie within them are. Hence he always enjoyed science-related subjects particularly Mathematics and Physics. During school years Daniel and his team won First place at Physics Olympics at University of British Columbia.
At Pacbrake on some days you will find Daniel designing and testing mechanical parts, while other days he's writing and debugging software for embedded micro controllers.
During his free time Daniel likes to spend time outdoors with his wife and kids.
Paul completed his Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at UBC and his Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering also at UBC. After some time dabbling in other ventures, Paul is glad to have rejoined the team at Pacbrake where he first completed an internship during his undergraduate studies.He is a member of the aftermarket team and thoroughly enjoys the iterative design process and facing the various challenges he is posed with daily. Above all else, Paul enjoys coming in to the office to work alongside the great staff at Pacbrake.
Paul grew up in the Metro Vancouver region and is happy to be working for a local company that specializes in the automotive industry. In his spare time, you can find him outdoors or in the gym.
Production Assembly Supervisor
Mark started his career working for companies such as Honda, Chrysler and Volkswagen in their Quality and Production departments. He has been with Pacbrake since 1998, starting in the Quality Department. Relative experiences have allowed him to move within different departments within Pacbrake over the years from Quality, Production/Assembly, Engineering & Purchasing. Mark was one of the original team members to be involved in establishing Pacbrake's global supply chain, requiring him to travel overseas, spending weeks and months at a time abroad building a Quality system and working first hand with qualifying suppliers for Pacbrake.
His personal time is spent with family, playing baseball and enjoying the outdoors.
Vijay started at Pacbrake in 1998, working on engine brakes in the machining department . He then went on to work in assembly, before taking a position in the receiving department in 2007. As the receiving in-charge he is now responsible to track and inspect every single part that comes into the building. Working for Pacbrake for over 19 years now, he has definitely worn different hats.
In his free time, Vijay enjoys cooking and playing with the kids.
