Pacbrake Company wants to ensure our customers that our products are in compliance with California Proposition 65.
California Proposition 65 (officially titled the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) is a California law that regulates the use of toxic and carcinogenic substances. Under the law, the State of California maintains a list of regulated substances, and if any consumer product contains a listed substance at regulated levels, the product must bear a warning to that effect. The regulations have been reviewed by Pacbrake and implemented into our business processes.
Be assured, Pacbrake will continue to monitor the Proposition 65 regulations for any new chemicals and will compare newly listed chemicals with the raw materials in our finished product. We will communicate this information to you, our customers in a timely manner should any issue arise in the future.
More information about Proposition 65, including the list of regulated substances, can be found on the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment’s website
