Where is Pacbrake Sourced From? The Real Story Behind the Label

We recently got a great question from a customer: “Where is Pacbrake products actually made?”

Instead of giving a short answer, we figured—why not pull back the curtain and explain the full story? We even shot a quick video on it, but here’s the detailed breakdown for those who want the inside scoop.

More Than a “Made In” Label

You might see “Made in China,” “Made in Canada,” or “Made in the USA” on a Pacbrake product. But here’s the truth—the most important thing to look for isn’t the country on the label, it’s the Pacbrake name on the box.

We’re based in Langley, BC, but modern manufacturing isn’t as simple as one factory in one location. Today’s supply chains are global. For example, a product stamped “Made in the USA” might have air springs from China, brackets from Mexico, and screws from Vietnam—assembled and boxed in the States. Technically accurate? Sure. But it doesn’t tell the whole story for our tow haul based products.

Why Quality Control Comes First

Instead of getting hung up on labels, we focus on something far more important—quality control.

We’ve taken a unique approach to overseas manufacturing. Rather than relying on random third-party suppliers, we actually built our own factory in China and hired our own employees there. That means we control the process from start to finish—mirroring our ISO 9001-certified standards used in North America.

Our global supply chain also includes trusted partners in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Vietnam, Turkey, Taiwan, India, and beyond. Even when we don’t own the facility, we don’t just send an email and hope for the best—we visit in person, audit the operation, and make sure every step meets Pacbrake’s high standards.

Double-Checked Before It Reaches You

No matter where a component is made, it doesn’t become a Pacbrake product until it passes inspection here in North America. Every part, from Bravo kits to bolts, gets a second quality check before it goes into a customer’s hands.

Our Promise

Pacbrake has been around long enough to know that truck owners and towing enthusiasts care about performance, reliability, and value. That’s exactly what we deliver—regardless of which corner of the globe a part starts in.

Because at the end of the day, we’re not selling “Made in X.” We’re selling Pacbrake Quality—and that will never change.
